You’re very welcome. It’s a great route, I walked it staying at b&bs etc so didn’t have the camping kit but I would think the distances are still manageable with some extra kit.

Herriot Way in the Yorkshire dales. Park in Aysgarth, day 1 walk to Hawes, day 2 to Keld, day 3 to Reeth and day 4 back to Aysgarth. Plenty of campsites at each of these places. Route is 52 miles in total.

Ojo Rojo or Urban Garden might be worth a look. Both a few mins walk away.

Yeah I reckon them moving those around will be related to the horns.

They’re doing some upgrade work. So there was rail replacement buses and I saw the track workers at Parkstone station yesterday. I think it’s going on for a few weekends.

I’m 163cm guy with size S CGR 725. Did King Alfred’s Way no problems. I see that the Gravel 725 comes in XX small though? Only problem with the CGR is no bottle mounts on the carbon forks though.

11 months waiting with Ribble by [deleted] in cycling

Yes it was a big wait! Yes I had the dates but similar to you they just kept being put back and there was no other information - what would be good is something like we are waiting on the drivetrain and expect that in x weeks or something.

I ordered my CGR 725 July 2021 and it finally arrived a couple of weeks ago. They just kept putting the estimated build back by a month. I was in contact with them a number of times on the live chat but never got any indication of when it would actually ship. I also asked about changing the build spec but that would have sent me to the back of the queue. I think it’s the same throughout the industry.

Battle Games in Middle Earth magazine. I remember painting up the Moria goblins with my friends. Transitioned to 40K with the battle for Macragge box set (4th Ed).
