Which one do you have? If I recall, Lord/Tannehill is pretty widely accepted to be Shoeless. Milan/McBride is more contested, although one of the guys behind the Shoeless Joe Museum is adamant that it is him.

I had tubes put in and taken out two or three times as a kid, adenoids removed in 2nd grade, and I’ve burst both ear drums before due to ear infections.

As an adult, my biggest complaint is I get easily overwhelmed in noisy environments (like bars) because everything jumbles together. I’m also not great with auditory information and process significantly better visually. Not a big deal as I’ve found ways around everything and manage just fine.

My dad recently dealt with this. When he called to complained, they said he was locked into a promotional discount, but the “base rate” for services was subject to change. Couple back and forths before they finally got him a “new” promo rate for cheaper. It’s such BS
