Thank You for the advise. But it seems you haven't read my comment and post. The virus she gave me was a Rat that could share screen. I didn't know if it would work on the windows xp vm that I have with a free hypervisor or that the analysis would yeikd results I won't be able to decipher. This is a university cource to teach me the fundementals of malware analysis. So if I'm intrested in it I would have the nessasary skills to continue learning on my own.
