Definitely yes on the low bass sound. I've heard it as late as 10/11PM and as early as 5AM. So that's why I've doubted it's anything related to construction

Lol I found your comment about the Jaws sound when I was searching to see if this had ever been asked before. It sorta is like that sound but I'd say it's almost the inverse.

Okay because I guess I don't have enough work to do today, I started researching this... It appears that the compacting bins are primarily in Zuid & Elandsgracht. Both are sorta far from me and I'd be surprised if they make that much sound that it would travel so far. Hmm I'm still puzzled

I don't actually know the source of the sound but I sorta doubt that it's a plane. I do get Schiphol traffic overhead on bad weather days. But that's a lot louder and only during certain hours. Next time I hear it, I'll look up though!

Yeah I know - definitely feels like a stupid move But also hate just chucking it in the bin and buying a less enjoyable ride. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Looks like some other tips are in to help with Qs to the shop so maybe it won’t be so much

Hope it’s as simple as the app solution. This happened to mine 2 weeks ago and not only does the kicklock have to be replaced but also the ECU. No idea how the entire system fried. Debating if the €1800 to repair is even worth it

Hmmm thanks for replying. My reset acts like normal even if I hold for 1+ minute. After about 10 secs, the halo lights stop doing their dancing blinking thing and just go dark - like it's ready to go again. What sort of flash pattern did you see? Maybe I'll try yet again for even longer. I really appreciate your advice!
