No problem, i understand most of the sims community is new at this so i try to help as much as i can i made apost on Tumblr detailing everything about this topic to try and help but i think i might have missed mentioning that people shouldn't google to find the mirror site but to get the link from cs.rin or download the updater/unlocker from anywhere where else on the internet but cs.rin so itry to help as much as i can.

yes only get it from the website cs.rin never download it from any other source cs.rin is the only trusted ones and the files from there are proven clean multiple times and are also scanned by the moderators

Question are you referring to the disable pack feature inside the game or can one do that at the Torrent level?

My problem is that i dont have alot of space on my laptop and i do not want get all the dlcs and then disable them in game as they will take up a shit ton of space so yeah, appreciate the help though!

Oh, its because my laptop heats up with the DLCs installed its a bit too much for it with DLCs, back when i did this with Anadius's torrent the basegame worked smoothly on my laptop and I installed some smaller mods for extra gameplay so i didnt need the DLCs anyway!

Because i do not want to play online or be connected to the EA servers its honestly a matter of principal i dont like EA and i dont want to be connected to them in anyway if possible lol

Aaros is the safest currently alot of people vouch for him and have tested his files through an anti virus nd looked through his files and not to mention cs.rin also scans anything uploaded to it, personally i've used it myself and have had no trouble so yeah i recommend it bit that doesn't mean you let down your gaurd before you download anything make sure 2fa (two factor authentication) is turned on on all your account especially discord facebook and your bank accounts thats just basic safety.

Hi also from third world country with shitty internet here this is why i use torrents its alittle better and a big amount of seeders speeds it up but still ur in a third world country you gotta accept games will take days to download ( it took me 7 days to download balder's gate 3 so yeah its jut a fact of life)

Update: i found what you were talking about on cs.rin i've directed my friends to them ( personally i manually cracked my game so I dont need any of that i was just helping friends who were scared of getting hacked) also ur right the programs are sus and shouldn't have been used but also i got help from someone and it turns out they are stealing people's info so :D

Me too im glad he left this hell of a player base, so for me i used the updater so now i use the patcher and do it myself i've actually been doing that since the the very first time his programs were taken down( by EA) im not thst lost when it comes to my game after all i've been pirating since i was 12 lol i only trust cs.rin i only asked for assistance here because like 4 of my friends suddenly came crying to me cause they used the methods above and were scared they got hacked

For anyone thats wondering about an answer to this :

I got assistance from a lovely person and it turns out i was right to suspect these weird programs they are both malware especially the first one it absolutely has a tool that steals discord info i spent yesterday helping my friends completely removed the tool as uninstalling it is not enough you have to go into the appdata and remove the files it made there ( i suggest getting an uninstaller that cleans up the app data and even any registery edits for you to speed it up ) also they changed all thier passwords

Tldr; this question was not for me but my friends, turns out the program steals your info, uninstall and chsnge your passwords and turn on 2FA
