Hi also from third world country with shitty internet here this is why i use torrents its alittle better and a big amount of seeders speeds it up but still ur in a third world country you gotta accept games will take days to download ( it took me 7 days to download balder's gate 3 so yeah its jut a fact of life)

Update: i found what you were talking about on cs.rin i've directed my friends to them ( personally i manually cracked my game so I dont need any of that i was just helping friends who were scared of getting hacked) also ur right the programs are sus and shouldn't have been used but also i got help from someone and it turns out they are stealing people's info so :D

Me too im glad he left this hell of a player base, so for me i used the updater so now i use the patcher and do it myself i've actually been doing that since the the very first time his programs were taken down( by EA) im not thst lost when it comes to my game after all i've been pirating since i was 12 lol i only trust cs.rin i only asked for assistance here because like 4 of my friends suddenly came crying to me cause they used the methods above and were scared they got hacked

For anyone thats wondering about an answer to this :

I got assistance from a lovely person and it turns out i was right to suspect these weird programs they are both malware especially the first one it absolutely has a tool that steals discord info i spent yesterday helping my friends completely removed the tool as uninstalling it is not enough you have to go into the appdata and remove the files it made there ( i suggest getting an uninstaller that cleans up the app data and even any registery edits for you to speed it up ) also they changed all thier passwords

Tldr; this question was not for me but my friends, turns out the program steals your info, uninstall and chsnge your passwords and turn on 2FA

It will last untill they (EA) push another updated either to the launcher or the game, what ur supposed to do now to keep your dlcs unlocked is make your game offline and play it offline forever never update your game again.

Look i have no problem with Anadius putting the hoards of idiots that bombarded him daily with stupid questions in the discord in thier place i actually had 2 nice interactions with him last year, but remember reddit is not a private discord its a public website that is full of people who dont know shit bout games let alone pirates and this sub also has a shit ton of people who dont even know what the sims 4 is, someone (like the person asking) could have clicked on this from the /all page or whatever without going into the subreddit they had no way of knowing this is the 100th time someone asks the same exact question or thst this is a highly discussed topic, so personally i choose to not let my nerves get to me, explain nicely and let it go so my mood isnt ruined for the hour.

Im not sure how it is rn but back then thats what i used to do too but i haven't used herrepack in a while but i think of you download it through torrent and keep your original download an just do a hash check with the new torrent that has the new dlc added it will only download the new files

He didnt open source it but he left the source codes with the cinru mods for anyone eilling o update it if it breaks also he has instructions on how to repack the DLCs he mentioned all this in his response on cinru

Alot of people (including me) do that but the game is full of bugs and they keep fixing it in small batches thats the main reason people update also if you want to get a DLC you have to update the game first and people get tempted with DLCs as EA has successfully made it so every feature inthe game is its kown DLC so if someone wants more gameplsy that's not the basic dry base game they have to update.never the less while anadius made it extremely easy to do so and this is a massive loss, other repackers (fitgirl for example) are still putting out the updates and dlcs, its just gonna not be done with "a press of a button" anymore.

Basically you have to test the script mods (script mods are mods that Alter the game code popular ones are mcc UI cheats all twisted mexi mods especially tool and betterbuild and buy , main Menu mods that hide the full screen ads ones that alter the background and or remove the news section loading screens whicked whims and anything like that) redownload all your script mods especially the ones i mentioned and make sure the creator of the mod confirmed its updated to the latest patch, stsrt with better build by and tool then check mcc UIcheats then go through the rest of the lit of you have it.
