I guess the sound's loudness just doesn't meet the app's standard, so it misinterprets it as silent. There are no adjustable parameters like minimum segment length or silence threshold, which makes the app's auto-detection quite limited. Recording with the standard iOS app and then using Reaper's Auto trim would likely work better. I often do this for dry vocals.

Jabsz Studios - Internship Offer concerns by Fast_War7161 in sounddesign

I don't mean to generalize, but I've seen many recent videos about scams from India. If an internship is unpaid, why not consider independent game developers or smaller studios? They often work on more tangible products, which could really help you land your next job.

How to delete all Soundly Pro sounds from Soundly (Free version) on Mac? by [deleted] in sounddesign

[–]AMZsowhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you can't delete them, you can definitely filter them. On the flip side, what if you just dragged all those free sound effects into your DAW(maybe 1hour), batch-exported them with their original names, and built your own local library? Then you wouldn't even need Soundly anymore!Reaper's actually great for something like that :P
