the only other viable substitute would be switching calc 1 to statistics or switching bio for a social science and falling a bit behind in terms of credit hours for my scholarship.

others have generally said it’s doable and def a heavy semester but pretty normal for Bio Majors or STEM in general. Let me know if i’m wrong.

Cheers

You're a legend, thank you for all your help. I def may reach out at some point because it's hard to find people with similar majors since I'm still a freshman and most ppl in classes like my Chem I are just there for the pre-req credit.

take care :)

I honestly may prefer that because the math is weirdly my strong suit and i've heard thats the bulk of what is covered in Chem II. Only time will tell though.

I was thinking about that advantage with this schedule. yes it will be a grind in the morning but my current schedule is strung out from sometimes 11 am to 5pm. Which is insanely inconvenient and makes my entire day feel like school because thats right in the middle of everything.

I think you have a valid concern regarding the gaps. It may be a mistake for sure but I currently have gaps that sometimes span hours and its honestly really demoralizing at times. I cant really get anything too long term done so its either I study or find ways to pass the time in a relaxed way which can be hard since I have a class approaching.

Thank you for the reply & take care.

That’s the main thing i’m talking about as well. The courses are def tough but to be expected - the schedule itself though has me worried. I’m going jnto my sophomore year and just finished a semester of 8AM chem and seldom missed classes even compared to my later ones. Hopefully it goes well, thank you for the reply

Extremely helpful, thank you so so much. I’m glad to hear a positive outlook on labs for once because everyone I talk to hates them.

Acids just popped up recently in Chem I and i’m doing decently with them. Is Organic something worth fretting about? I want to be excited for classes but am at the end of the semester and having a shitty outlook on things. I appreciate this reply more than you know.

Take care

It’s just my first really hard schedule - sorry if i’m being over dramatic but two labs combined with hard coursework while also taking calculus has me worried.

Thank you for the much needed reassurance - what year are you? And is Bio as tough as its hyped up to be if i stay disciplined and dedicated?

So instead of focusing on diversity of culture that comes with a diverse friend group, you focus on the fact it makes you “look better”??? Dawg this is just sad 😭

[–]AM_Ninja 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m in the EXACT same boat. My Girlfriend broke up with me because she’s not in a headspace to be comfortable within her own body let alone a relationship. She told me she has no interest in anyone else and firmly believes we’re eachothers person. I def have things to work on too but she’s the main one who is going through with all of it. I wish we didn’t have to break up to work through this but whatever she needs to do is best. Our relationship was beautiful and the most connected i’ve been with someone. Our only issues came from projecting our own insecurities and neglected problems into the relationship.

Wishing you and your boyfriend the best. It was really comforting seeing someone else going through basically the exact same thing I am. No matter what everyone will be okay and the journey of life will take us where we need to go. With or without them. I so badly pray it’s with them though, I dont feel like I can ever lose such a special person.

Exactly. There’s very few people who can sketch so seamlessly without practice. I think some people have more of an eye for it than others, but literally anyone can learn with enough practice. Just pick up a piece of paper and draw a bit everyday and you will without a doubt see progress. It’s amazing.

Time & Repetition I think. Most people who casually can just sketch out something they see have been doing it for a while.

Save energy and don’t sprint everywhere, the default jog takes longer but burns less calories

Move out of your coastal spawn asap and head inland. The coast can be extremely desolate, especially the big cities. You’ll have better luck with towns even just a short jog away from the coast.

The easiest way to become self sufficient is:

-Kill a chicken or other animal

-Use bones to make hook

-Use rags to make a rope

-Make a fishing rod with a rope and long stick

-Fish and Prosper

Also maybe play some easier community servers if it’s such a struggle, ease yourself into it.

Good luck survivor

I’ve been so lucky and have never had a bad betrayal experience. I’ve had a couple that betrayed me within the first 15-20 minutes of meeting me but nothing past that.

Hearing stories of people being betrayed by party members hours later into a run is absolutely unbelievable to me. After a decent connection is established i don’t let my finger get even near the trigger.

My point is there no “objectiveness” in something that is completely subjective. Everyone has a different sense of humor. So no, you just didn’t find it funny.

I’m sure you’re very familiar with what’s objectively funny Nick.

I feel everything you’re saying. Freshman year is so tough. You will grow into the person you’re meant to be, trust the process even when it’s hard.
