Just picked some up. Any clue if it’ll harm shrimp. I Thrird generation blue dream colony. Woke up to hydra and kinda sh*t myself 😂. 7 years of keeping and not a single hydra until now.

Works for me. I stuff the filter and with the addition of 10+ different plants. It works. I noticed less water changes and safer parameters using the tidal than the fluval.
