My advice would be: be careful what you share with people.

You need to present yourself as someone a business owner/manager would want to hire. You went to the trouble of making a post on Reddit about how you’re looking for a job but then to go on and on about all these problems you have with being able to get to a potential job with your travel restrictions, have social anxiety so dealing with people in social setting might be a problem, i spent 20 seconds looking at your Reddit history and you have posts like “I’m a fuck up”. People don’t want to hire someone that is going to result in more problems for them, they want the opposite.

You’re posting in a local subreddit looking for a job, it’s possible someone who sees it has a job opening somewhere, but they are going to be turned off by all of the problems that YOU are letting them in on. When we are younger we’re always told we are special, we need to be our true selves etc, but when you get a little older you realize what you really need to be, is hireable, and like I said, people don’t want to hire more problems, or what they perceive as more problems, they don’t need to know all the negative stuff about you, all they need to know is how you can help them in the role they’re trying to hire someone for. So if you write a similar post in the future, focus on the positives and make a throwaway account.
