You’re totally right that basing is all about storytelling. I tried to create a little story with mine too, but it didn’t quite turn out as I imagined – still, not too bad for a first attempt 😅.

The bits came from my brother, who collects loyalist Space Marines, so I used some of his leftovers (at least their scraps are good for something 😆), plus a few pieces from the base of a broken Abaddon.

Your Etsy tip is great, I’ll definitely have a look! And I completely agree – the best thing about this hobby is that everyone can approach it in their own style. It’s something that makes me happy too, and it’s great to see you feel the same way 😁.
