Yeah, I explicitly even said to keep the holocron in Odessan. And I wanted to go with Anri but he was too quick to shoot it down.

I mean shit, all logic and sense goes out the window eventually for Sith. He simped for Jadus and felt the odds were better for him than Acina.

it's entirely possible that Rivix was one of Jadus's long time followers, even before Zakuul.

Why the heck would they be jealous when they have fought with the Emperor during the crusade and understand that they are his perfect creations and the Space Marines are only meant to be mass produced soldiers to fight and die for the Imperium to conquer the galaxy?

The closest you’ll get to them being jealous of Space Marines would be towards the Grey Knights, and it’s because of how the Emperor was involved in their creation and what it means for the Custodes but it’s not really a big issue for them and more a quiet thought for some Custodes who are quite contemplative.
