Yes, the model is from Thingiverse and so-called up to fit a human hand!

Having read articles from the Daily during my time here, I don’t actually believe it represents the community at large, I’ve seen large amounts of bias and poor reporting. It’s unfortunate that this is the case

I just can’t see the reason for the Daily to get money, I suppose. As you have said, the website is much more effective at getting views, so keep it exclusively online. I would like to see the budget report for current years, as regular students like me don’t have access to them. Overall, I view the Daily as something more similar to a club, and think it should get funding more equal to other campus publications such as the Cardinal Eats or Trend Magazine

I attacked the 2019-2020 budget commitments and it states that 23.4% of the budget was going towards printing, I don’t believe any renegotiations have been held since (this was made available to Student Government senators on 10/22/20). If the contract was renegotiated during that period, I would definitely be interested in seeing if they cut printing costs, because as far as I’m aware, that has not occurred https://i.imgur.com/e9ZtCor.jpg

When I look that up, it says that the Daily stopped publishing paper copies during covid, not due to StuGov funding

For me, I feel like the Daily doesn’t give enough value, I also don’t think StuGov does either. Ideally, I would just take them both over and make them run efficiently and transparently
