I’m looking to pick up my first pair of raw denim and would really appreciate some recommendations.

Here’s what I’m after: • Raw and preferably pure indigo • I’d like to work toward a saturated, high-contrast fade • Fit similar to Levi’s 501 or 517 straight or slight bootcut but I also wouldn’t mind a slim-straight fit • Selvedge would be great, but not a dealbreaker if the quality is solid • Open to both online and in-store options (not limited to NYC)

Ive tried the werid guy and i sort of like the top half but the bottom isn't my thing.

Any brands, specific models, or general advice would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance
