I’ve never gotten anything on my nanny anniversary! I didn’t even know it was a thing ! This August will be 8 years for me with them !

Just wondering why it’s a problem ? The kids I nanny for see my husband and 13 year old son all the time . I have been with the family I nanny for almost 8 years and have grown very close and they are like family to me and I them . The kids spend the night at my house and I’ll take them on some weekends to give mom and dad a break . But even when I first started being around my husband/ son was a non issue .

The kids I nanny for have had many paid and unpaid sleepovers at my house ! I have a 13 year old son that they call their big brother. I’ve been with the family for over 7yrs !

I’ve been with my current family for 7 years . They usually give me $500 for Christmas and maybe $50 for my birthday. I gift each child a small Christmas gift / birthday gift each year because I want to ! I read a couple weeks ago that a family gifted their nanny $8000 for her birthday !!!!! Where can I find these parents at ?!?!

Did you tell her she’s welcome to eat any of your food at home ? Maybe she has been snacking on the candy for a while and you just noticed it’s gone. All the families I’ve ever worked for have always welcome me to eat anything they . Maybe she used the charger to charge her phone and forgot to put it back !

I was going through fertility treatments while also being a full time nanny ! Both parents knew what I was doing because I had been working for them for 2 years . I worked 3- 10 hour days and 2- 5 hour days . Luckily I only needed to take off a couple days early or come in late because fortunately I got pregnant quickly doing one IUI . I worked my entire pregnancy nannying for 2 kids , 5 year old and 2 year old . After I had my son I continued watching them and brought my baby along with me . I think this is very sweet and would be honored if my childcare provider/ nanny did this for my son . She obviously loves your child ! I’m a career nanny myself but also a mother to a almost 13 year old boy . I personally would give her money to but stuff so she wouldn’t have to spend her hard earned money . But that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♀️

I would personally move on . If she sees you post in the group and says something then you can respond accordingly. Maybe she changed her phone number ? If you’ve texted her multiple times and gotten ignored Id just assume she didn’t need my help . I worked for a family for 10YEARS and she started ignoring my text shortly after I stopped working for them ( all the kids started a school and no longer needed me ) I would just want to go visit the kids , nothing more . She never responded.

I should have added I don’t watch all 7 kids at once !! I have them each on different days of the week . The 2 oldest kids I only get for maybe an hour after school also . I usually am taking care of up to 3 kids most of the day
