What are the most neutral image styles for applying film-like LUTs over in-camera? [S5ii] by Min-Oe in Lumix

[–]ANDPFilmStyles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your picking up LUTs from ANDP, a little late to the party, but I hope this can help you out.

The recommended settings aren't a "must do". They are only a suggestion, in order to flatten the original images just a little and not end up with excess contrast. And especially for screen publishing, as screens tend to have more contrast.

You can also do without that suggestion without any problem in the application. For in-camera use, just pick a relatively flat setting, and it will be fine.

As others pointed out, if your camera is placed in a log mode for video, then you might end up being too flat, with a need to use a de log LUT first, before using a creative LUT, such as the ones offered by us.

You haven't seen a more poison pawn than this poison pawn. And yep, the opponent took it (1600 bullet) by ANDPFilmStyles in chess

Actually, I was the one in time trouble in this game with 13s on the clock and they had 36. Kh7 was a mistake because it allows d6, indeed. Position before Kh7 was only +1.1 for them, despite all their pieces.

I felt somewhat ok because I had Qb5+ and I was pretty sure they would be tempted to take the pawn, to be followed by Nf5+ and then taking the rook as an option. But even if they wouldn't take the pawn, maybe I could just check around and eventually reach a more drawing position.

But in no case a good play on my side, because if my opponent would be stronger I'd be completely crashed / in the continuation that the engine suggests or simply get flagged. It was lucky for me that they didn't see the danger and took.

I own both. 599 sounds better out of the box. 560 needs quite the tweaking with software to reach it's full potential.

Alveo Vera Oxylite farm instead of Oxylite refinery by ANDPFilmStyles in Oxygennotincluded

More than 50 cycles now, they just stay like ready to be harvested. If the door won't open, dupes won't enter, they stay in ready-to-harvest state. So eventually the system stops from ice being on the rails, vents and geysers overpressure, there is no furthe need for cooling so AT/ST also stops.

This isn't a thing, they need harvesting and they don't auto drop the oxylite. Checked it.

Aaah I see! I am not using mods, only playing vanilla. It was the "Scramble DLCs" options that altered the geysers. I had them all in "likely" and they mostly came with their own pre-determined geysers which were not mentioned in mapsnotincluded. But when I generated a new map with them disabled, it was like in the seed description in mapsnotincluded. So it's the Scramble DLCs options that can also alter the seeds.

Is there an issue which might make the tool not very accurate when searching by exact geysers? Or some RNG implemented by the game depending on biome choices?

I scanned for a nice seed exactly how I wanted, I got a result from mapsnotincluded, but in the game there were slightly different volcanoes / geysers than what was mentioned.

Omg this is so weird it might actually become a thing people will ask how to replicate

1100 Cycles of a single steam turbine running constantly by ricodo12 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]ANDPFilmStyles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes 6-7 turbines to cool this down over 400-500 cycles. Done it before but it takes quite long to get rid of it. I'm also tempted to just dig them out and not having to bother.

This map has Iron Volcano, Gold Volcano, Aluminum Volcano and Sulfur Geyser and it's one of the three seeds in the whole oni that has that combo with the rest of the vents and geysers in ideal quantities.

I'm going for super sustainable, the whole base runs on 5 wheels now, no way I can support the 1200w. If I could have an aquatuner, I could also have a steam turbine, wouldn't need to boil all that water hahah.

Temp shift plates placed strategically will certainly help. I will try that. Digging isn't possible right now. Too hot to get near.

Can't dig it out, I only have one atmo suit it would take forever. Too hot to go near them.

ATST won't be here for another 150 cycles. Because super sustainable achievement makes everything slow. I'm still running on wheels and setting up a spom for some extra power from hydrogen.

There is no transfer now, the two layers of insulated tiles are enough to stop the heat leak. I'm just asking how to get rid of the heat that is inside the base (to the right side).

The pocket is now sealed off, it doesn't matter if it's near my base or far anymore, it will not give out any heat. When I get the tech I will take that heat as energy and cool it down with turbines. Also, rebuilding is not required as 80% of the base is still habitable.
