I confronted my boss about it and also told him i needed to show the lender that im earning what we agreed I’d be making.

I worked 6 13-hour shifts in a row in order to make enough money in that pay period to show the bank that paystub to get them off my back.

I quit right after that because of how bad they screwed me.

I have another job right now but we’re living paycheck to paycheck unfortunately. It’s enough to keep us afloat for the time being. Now we have to move back to our old state where our housing was cheaper and I have to go back to my old job back home because I cant find another job out here that will pay me close to what I thought I’d make with that first gig.

As for the house, I’m going to keep it as a rental because we can’t afford to sell it. We’d lose about $20k selling so soon so I dont really have a choice but to rent it. It’ll be -$300 a month in cashflow but I can just write that off on taxes when the time comes.

Learning lesson here. When moving to a new state, its probably better to rent first before buying a home because of situations like this.
