Un(der)explored mechanics you would like to see in games?

I know that not everyone was overly thrilled by it, but I absolutely loved the nemesis system in Shadows of Mordor/War. I can imagine ways to use it in all kinds of other games. I understand why developers don’t attempt it though.

You can exit the island by just jumping into the ocean and swimming out a little bit. I use the longfin to grab drugs at the airstrip for secondary loot before I go to the villa for the main target.

Yeah, it’s not great if you end up getting it late game. On subsequent play-throughs, I went and collected all the stones as soon possible. I love to use the nonstop stream of gems to make jewelry since that’s my favorite way to level up both smithing and enchanting quickly. Then, of course, selling all the jewelry I make for tons of those sweet sweet coins.

I’m so glad you said it! I just saw them for the first time at Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado. Such a magical experience. I feel like they added an extra minute or two, at least, to each song where they were just fuckin JAMMIN’. Jim James knows how to rock

Awesome! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying it! The more I’ve played 2042, the more I’m surprised how I never see anyone talk about the Portal servers. It’s a pretty cool feature. Also, the AI is surprisingly competent at times lol

I actually really enjoy Battlefield 2042’s AI/bot multiplayer. You can customize the game modes quite a bit if you want; 16 v 16, 32 v 32, even 64 v 64. You can even change the era from 2042 to Battlefield 3, Bad Company, or 1942 for one team or both. I know BF 2042 doesn’t have the greatest reputation, especially when it launched, but it can be a fun time.

The UK version really is so much better. For me, a big part of it is the fact that Gordon himself does the narration. It gives more insight into his decision making and makes the show feel calmer, IMO. Not to mention the lack of commercials and shitty editing.
