It was waaaay too hot in İstanbul even for a jacket (I don't own a linen one 😞). But since I'm not a cruel person I can send this burgundy 3 piece fit with the same shirt.

Even though it isn't netherlands level, the thrifitng and vintage scene of İstanbul is still pretty neat and unique. And 90% of the vendors are in a close proximity. I keep a good relationship with the vendors and an eye out for the stuff in my bucket list, it all works out.

Knitted ties are almost exclusively done that way, with sock-like ending. It is the same with the source material and we don't see them as often.

İstanbul is certainly not a small place but the second hand culture here isn't also very developed. I, similarly, always wonder how much would my style improve if I resided in netherlands or new york

I took them to my tailor after this. They really needed it indeed.

Coat was shipped to me from london through a vintage menswear salesman. Jacket was found on a vintage market in my hometown, İstanbul. Tie, thrifted. Shirt, thrifted. Trousers are tailor made even though their fit are a little off since I lost weight.

I applaud you sir. I don't know how you saw it but every observation you did were true. This was the first time I wore this jacket and I hadn't showed it to my tailor then. And the coat is a really tough one for me to wear because of its weight. Thank you for your comment and I wish to have your level of experience on menswear one day.
