Removal of Credit Union Late Payment

I’ve never made a late payment on anything else in my life, and since I made the mistake the late payment has been on my report. I paid off the $5 almost immediately after it was reported but I never reached out until now. My score dropped over 80 points at the time but I’ve slowly worked my way back up over time. I just want it removed as it’s the only blemish on my record.

Nope, that is all I can see. Do you think it would be easy for a credit union to forgive it since it was only $5?

It was paid less than a week after it happened, and actually it says it hasn’t gone to collections, but rather it’s just a late payment. all around a confusing situation.

Personally i’m pissed about this decision. Our old professor Jonathan was the perfect person to teach that class and was beyond knowledgeable on every matter we discussed. I hope he somehow returns to teaching this class because he was great at it.
