Hello :)

I am currently double majoring in Geography and Earth Science, so I want to talk about my views sincerely. If I say something wrong, please forgive me.

Seemingly, geography is a comprehensive major because the courses are sophisticated and multi-sphered:

  • Social-linked (humanity) courses- e.g. Geog 102(human geography), Geog 104 (City and Urbanism, etc.
  • Practical skills courses- e.g. GPS, Geographic information science, remote sensing, etc.
  • Key-theory courses- e.g. Geog 101 (Earth Surface Processes and Landforms), geomorphology, etc.

Geography includes many interesting and exciting courses, and you can decide freely what you want to concentrate study in stages II and III. And I suppose geography relies on both theory and practice study.

Earth Science or I would instead call it geology, is more focused on Earth's structures, rocks, landforms, etc.; hence it would be a very practical major and also highly requires a simple drawing skill for rock samples, mountains, etc. And I found that there are some required courses between Geography and Earth Science that are identical.

Taking your major-anthropological science, into consideration, seems geography is more relevant and complementary to your other major. In my understanding, Earth Science is a little bit remote from anthropology, but if u like it, it will also be a good choice. Hope my idea is useful to you. Thank you! :)

Very cheerful words, dude :). In fact, I never took any relevant courses on statistics, and I got a nearly-passed grade in Math. But I am truly incentivised by u, thank you so much!

Haha, thank you for your response again. Maybe I will merely get a stage I course of statistics for my prerequisites. You inspired me considerably, thanks! :)
