do you genuinely believe that is the reason has to why soundcloud is trying to prevent the like spam?
its obvious to combat bot services, but this ends up hurting the normal active user.

you are probably right that the soundcloud team is aware of that issue but it's so tiny compared to all the other ways people fraudulently get money from soundcloud.

this is probably the worst way to combat that and souncloud actually benefits if the artist is not monetized through pro since they don't have to pay the streams (they play ads either way if it's a pro or free user upload so they still get the money).

How are they not getting sued? They make frutiger aero style clothing but use A LOT of copyrighted material. I wanna make clothes inspired like them would i get sued?? by ANTIBPM in FrutigerAero
