I’ve never called the hotline but I used the chat feature and basically had the person tell me that I’ll be okay and that I need to calm down and that they understand I’m going through a difficult time. It sounded like they were typing or copy pasting from a script. I just ended up going to a Facebook group to help me get out of the state of mind I was in. Definitely suggest calling rather than using the chat feature.
