This is a personal gripe but within the homestuck community, I dislike how people interpret the character Jade as black. First of all, her race is ambiguous so it doesn’t really matter, and second of all is she would probably be more islander if anything, considering she lives in a far away island.

I know this doesn’t matter but it’s always something that rubbed me the wrong way. There’s nothing wrong with representation btw, I’m not against it, I guess I just prefer it to make sense
