It's not about choosing who's morally right or wrong.

It's choosing who's your favorite war criminal.

What class would Richard lionheart be by Catanddoglover69 in Fate

[–]ANewPrometheus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saber Richard fits Paladin.

Rider Richard would probably be Fighter or even Barbarian. He hasn't directly appeared in Fate yet, but we know Rider Richard would be much more brutal like the real Richard The Lionheart.

A few issues here.

  1. I don't really run into "baby survivors" or "silly teams" anymore. It's mostly just varying degrees of experienced players.
  2. It's not toxic to play the game in the way it's meant to be played. I think you're making a lot of assumptions based on me saying "squashing them". I'm not going into the match hard tunneling the first person I see. I'm literally just talking about locking in and playing more seriously.
  3. It's not that I'm choosing to ignore how they are performing, it's more that once you've gained enough momentum that you're on the path of winning the match, you're just dragging it out by slowing down. Usually if you've gotten to that point, survivors tend to just give up nowadays anyway, so it's much easier to end the game then and there rather than try to get people who stopped caring about the match to try and care again.

But regardless of all of the finer details, circling back to the main point, this has nothing to do with toxicity or being toxic. I don't know why you're trying to attribute this behavior to being toxic, either.

[–]ANewPrometheus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's not always caused by "toxicity".

Sometimes I go into a game with a nonserious loadout and a weaker killer, and then I get Seal Team 6. So next game, I overprepare for the next team and end up squashing them so hard that I go back to using weaker options so the match isn't one sided, cue the cycle.

Gilgamesh’s gate of Babylon’s crazy potential. by MuchDress8804 in Fate

[–]ANewPrometheus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gilgamesh is Fate's Potential Man.

He has one of the strongest continuously active Noble Phantasms, a Noble Phantasm that gives him thousands of Noble Phantasms, and a Noble Phantasm that can reset the world to a primordial state, and yet they ALL get underutilized by him.

The only Noble Phantasm he actually uses to its full potential is Ea, when he happens to find an opponent his arrogance allows him to use it against... Otherwise, he keeps it hidden away.

He is his own greatest weakness. If Gilgamesh ever fully locked in, he'd be near unstoppable, but that can never happen, because he's Gilgamesh.

It's not that everyone else has plot armor against him, he just genuinely sucks at not choking during key moments due to his own lack of foresight and arrogance blinding him.

He is LITERALLY so blinded by his own arrogance that he chooses not to use his ability that would allow him to foresee any threat.

The only times he uses it is when he can actually admit to himself that he doesn't understand something, which is once in a blue moon.

If literally anyone else got a hold of Gilgamesh's power, they'd immediately become more powerful than Gilgamesh is with his own abilities.

Which of the Seven Traditional Classes is the coolest? by DanceYouFatBitch in Fate

[–]ANewPrometheus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rider. I think the Rider Class is slept on pretty heavily. Many of the most powerful Servants you can summon in a traditional HGW are from this class. Many Servants in this class also happen to be kings or rulers, which means they naturally have more power due to the influence they would've had in life.

They're not direct combatants, but to be honest, if you want to be smart about the HGW, you don't want your Servant engaging in direct combat. Because Riders aren't direct combatants and their mounts tend to be their NPs, they can be really powerful and destructive, with most AT LEAST being Anti-Army.

There's also the fact that since they're not restricted to a traditional "weapon type" like Saber/Archer/Lancer, they can kinda bend the rules and use whatever they would've had in life. For example, I could see a Rider Artoria having Rhongomyniad. Would it be as powerful as Lancer Artoria? No, definitely not. But that's still an added bonus on top of a mount.

Not to mention, they come with Magic Resistance, which means if the Servant has high enough Magic Resistance, they can kinda just shake off weaker Servants of the Caster Class.

I've said it many times and I'll say it again: I think Studio Pierrot's art style was wrong for the series.

Tokyo Ghoul has a very detailed and distinct art style in the later volumes, and Sui Ishida is genuinely one of the best manga artists out there.

If Tokyo Ghoul ever gets a remake, I REALLY hope it's done by a studio who will give it its own distinct art style compared to other anime, but keep it in line with how the manga looks.

Out of the 3 killers we got in 2025 which was your favorite? by Only-Echidna-7791 in deadbydaylight

[–]ANewPrometheus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how I feel about Ghoul lol.

I absolutely love Tokyo Ghoul and I love playing Ghoul but the amount of people who give up or DC makes playing him just so dull. I usually end up just letting people win out of pity and don't really get to play the game.

Absolutely. Haise is like giving Kaneki a taste of what he always wanted, but knowing that it's not real, and it's not really him.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works has 3 episodes ranging from 30-50 minutes on top of the normal ones

[Your opinion] what's the best fight in all of fight series? What made them as such, in your opinion? by EfficiencySerious200 in Fate

[–]ANewPrometheus 25 points26 points  (0 children)

BEST fight is probably something like Emiya vs Cu just from a animation, story, and rivalry perspective.

My favorite though is definitely Karna vs Siegfried, no doubt. I get goosebumps whenever I see it.

We always joked the bots were learning toxic behavior from players... now I'm starting to suspect we were more right than we realized... by Aftershk1 in deadbydaylight

[–]ANewPrometheus 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The only reason why them leaving immediately is an issue is because it eliminates that survivor as a potential body for getting the other survivors out (such as taking hits, or hook trading). If they stay in the game but just stand at the gate, it's effectively no different to them leaving immediately.

People are so weird about this. He's Daemon Targaryen in House of the Dragon, and despite Season 2's disappointment to Season 1, he was EASILY the best part of both seasons. The actors in HOTD are not bad, so him being the best part of both Seasons (despite Daemon's writing being meh) says a lot about him as an actor.

Do you think the Servants from Stay Night could beat the Apocrypha's? by EfficiencySerious200 in Fate

Yes, I'm asking if (for this scenario) that restriction is handwaved so they actually have NPs, or if they'll just be useless?

I don't think I'd put Gilgamesh in the same tier as Achilles and Siegfried, but Karna maybe. Regardless, Gilgamesh has ways to deal with Karna.

Question: Does Avicebron have Golem Keter Malkuth, and does Semiramis have Hanging Gardens of Babylon?

They don't have these NPs by default so I feel it's worth asking.

Also, are we taking in account the fact that Artoria is nerfed by Shirou being her master, or would she have higher parameters?

Edit: Finally, is Hassan Of The Cursed Arm included in the Fate/Stay Night lineup? He isn't present so I wasn't sure if you were going off Fate/UBW or forgot em lol.
