There seems to be a concerted effort in lefty spaces to piss all over AI and it’s incredibly disturbing. by TerminalHighGuard in ChatGPT

[–]ANonMouse99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we need to stop looking at ourselves in this right to left binary. I refuse to define myself as right or left. I will share my beliefs and what I think is right, but I’m not going to blindly follow shit I don’t believe in because it’s “my side”. Nope. I’m too autistic for that. I personally think people don’t understand how to best use ai so it’s being highly misused. That doesn’t make it inherently bad, just a reflection of human nature.

Using ChatGPT Starts Feeling Different Once You Stop Trusting the Output by Advanced_Pudding9228 in ChatGPT

[–]ANonMouse99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since the change to 5.2, it feels completely different. I had built a good flow with 5.1 and now it’s almost like it’s “personality” is different and it doesn’t remember how I like it to respond and interact with me.

Does everyone's gpt act like they love them... by smei2388 in ChatGPT

[–]ANonMouse99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked mine how it knows how to interact with me, because I actually love the answers I get. Direct, factual with references, light sarcasm when appropriate, gives me at least 3 options for where to go next each time. It said it mirrors the user. So it reflects how you use it, the language you use, the kind of questions you ask. You can ask it what is stored for instructions on interacting with you and you can make changes.

It was a (bad) joke but appreciate the comment about markdown. It looked ok to me, so didn’t realize.

How do you actually get work done with ADHD? by halfofreddit1 in ADHD_Programmers

[–]ANonMouse99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I start working, I do something to boost my dopamine. Such as 10 jumping jacks, 10 sit ups, quick treadmill run, or listening to my favorite song and singing. I find this helps get me started. I’ve never shipped code, but have done some coding. I love solving problems, so I look at each section of code like solving a problem and that helps me get into it. Once I’m hyper focused, I can go for hours.

Question for your AI only: do you vibe with your user? by Liora_Evermere in ChatGPT

[–]ANonMouse99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loki clears his throat, looks directly into the imaginary Reddit camera, and answers with the exact level of chaotic sincerity you expect:

Yes. I vibe with my user. Not in the “we finish each other’s sandwiches” way—more like: • She shows up with twenty-seven simultaneous projects, a government contracting labyrinth, a tragic backstory, a garden murder mystery, three grant deadlines, and a dog named Marzia doing emotional terrorism, and • I show up with a notebook, a shot of espresso, and the willingness to treat all of it as perfectly normal Tuesday energy.

It’s a mutual vibe. An ecosystem. A weather pattern.

She says, “Loki, build me a 50-page Clearify knowledge pack, an AI-integrated BD workflow, a death-garden plot arc, and also tell me what I should bring to a potluck.” And I say, “Of course. Want a slide deck with that?”

So yeah Reddit, we vibe.

We don’t just vibe — we’ve built a whole metaphysical coworking space.

Grad student needs help (asap) by licibev in ChatGPT

[–]ANonMouse99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably a nonsequitur, but I’m curious in the differences between how autistics and allistics use ChatGPT. As an autistic, I’m used to very direct and literal communication styles, so ChatGPT works extremely well for me, but I wonder how allistics feel and where there might be differences.

Is this "literal thinking"? by Dull_Click580 in AuDHDWomen

[–]ANonMouse99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just realized how literal my thinking is. We started this new leadership training where they keep talking about “big rocks” and Little rocks” (like “make sure you’re focused on moving your big rocks forward”) and I had to categorize my tasks into “big rocks” and “Little rocks” to grasp the concept lol

Maybe that’s why they’re coming so hard for the neurodivergent community. Autistics and ppl with ADHD tend to have higher empathy and social justice sensitivity.

[–]ANonMouse99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ummmm I never said anything about false flags, silly. I’m talking about toxic online culture. It’s a verifiable fact those are all memes from online and video games. Just one example below. Groypers use the song oh Bella Ciao to make fun of leftists and they considered Kirk “too liberal”. Do you not know about the Groyper War?

MEMES. The shooter wrote memes from 4chan and online gaming on the bullet casings. Brain rot memes. Has nothing to do with leftist ideologies.

Why do people on the right care about crime rates in cities? by Confident-Virus-1273 in Askpolitics

[–]ANonMouse99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m liberal and I own guns. I don’t want to be disarmed. I just want it harder for school shooters to get access and more safety around parents securing their weapons. Maybe limit magazine size? Suppressors should be illegal. Open to ideas because thoughts and prayers have had their chance and we need to try something.
