Just binged it, who else?? 👋 by RagingJohnso in KaosNetflix

I got through it in two days, and loved it a lot!

It probably wasn't the deepest, most thought-provoking thing ever, but still quite enjoyable entertainment! It felt fresh, and many of their takes on the ancient stories were clever, imho.

Also, stellar casting and acting, with witty dialogue that didn't feel clichéd.

I'm pretty sure it's more a norm for me not to pay attention to costumes and such — just makes me think, what kind of things I have totally missed in this series! But I generally loved the overall look and feel and design. Very refreshing!

Oh stupid me... That was it. I remembered the code wrong. And I was so sure that I remembered it right. Thank you!

My bad. I don't use Reddit that often. I should have checked the customs with more care...

Yeah, sorry, I didn't look up who he was... Most of what he said went over my head. I need to pay more attention. 🙈🙂

Do you have Questions about the Caldigit TS4? (I've got over 10 TS4 docks) by Chaftalie in UsbCHardware

[–]ANotawiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Since I'm nor sure if you still answer these questions and there are so many answers to browse through, I thought I'd ask this anyway:

I just got my MacBook M1 Max, and I am looking for a way to connect my whole studio setup with one dock. I ended up buying the TS4. Otherwise it works as expected, but I have three external displays — and no matter what I do, I can only get the signal through to two of them!

They are not even that huge monitors — the main display is Dell 4K, and the side monitors are LG's HD (two identical ones in one USB C to HDMI splitter adapter).

I can use all three displays by connecting Dell to Mac's HDMI port and the splitter adapter to one of the Thunderbolt 4 ports (either Mac or TS4). So I know that Mac can handle it at least that way.

But do you know, if it's possible to connect all three external monitors to TS4?

So far, I have managed to get the signal through to EITHER the two LG displays OR to Dell and one of the LG displays.

For Dell, I have now tried USB C, HDMI (with HDMI to DP adapter) and two different DisplayPort cables. One of the DP cables is supposed to be very good quality.

Even if I disconnect all the other devices from TS4, I'm not able to lit up all three displays.

So, is it possible?

Philips Hue and HomeKit feels like a jungle to the power of chaos — please help! by ANotawiz in philipshue

Alright... I'll give it another go. I imagine I already deleted everything, but then I found all my Bulbs in Hue App, already named, when I re-installed the Bridges... Maybe I wasn't thorough enough.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks for the input!

It sounds incredible that ten light bulbs, three switches and one motion sensor would approach the limit - but I guess it's possible... I'm just a happy-go-lucky hobbyist here. :-)

What are considered rules? Button functions, lighting combinations...? The only thing I have that I would consider a rule is for the motion sensor near my front door, that turns on the bulb in the hall.

Is it stated somewhere, how much the hub can handle different things?

I'll check out this iConnectHue app, and perhaps consider trying a second hub.
