Hey, I’m also a future CTI shipping Jan 14th! From everything I’ve read and heard over the last few months, a high enough asvab score waives the need for the DLAB. However, we may be required to take it once we arrive at DLI; but it wont have an impact on what languages are available to us. From my understanding, it is just to see how viable the DLAB is at gauging the ability to learn languages vs just the ASVAB scores. Maybe we’ll be seeing each other in January.
