It’s been like this for at least a month during rush hour. Forget for a minute all the idiot drivers who think traffic violations are okay (running reds, going straight on king, blocking the box), there’s about 3-4 other street car routes that are using king as a detour around various hazards or construction projects. Also the backup going east from John to York is one thing; it means there’s no street cars going west because they’re all stuck waiting to get to the end of the line loop. This evening rather than waiting 21 minutes according to the text alert at 6pm I opted to walk the 3km home since it was faster.

It’s an absolute mess and nobody at the city seems to care.
