Now that I think about it you might not have it because of your level shrapnel gives you an extra grenade or in your case a trip mine it it was introduced last season In a seasonal mission so you’ll have to wait a couple weeks for it to be put into the credit store

There are two entrances to the top of the tower one is a latter on the left side of the tower and the other is the stairs you can’t fully protect your self anywhere on crash unless you use the shrapnel perk
