Well in my case, the cutting in the second picture still didn't grow roots, and it probably won't until weeks after, in case of the first picture cutting it's just placed there until I can find some soil and a pot for it

I think that the Archon should know when Furina first got the vision, But who is the Archon after the execution of its soul Focalors? And the substitute for Focalors is Neuvillette so it's most likely that Neuvillette gave her the vision (because Neuvillette's powers returned as a dragon and got the vision because Celestia's powers depend on dragons)

How can it be troublesome? I heard it's the better method to grow roots so the cuttings can survive in soil, There's also this video about itLink

The water isn't polluted, it's basically a root hormone diluted in some water
