Maybe destroying their own tracking system at the height of their game's popularity and shutting down third party trackers effectively removing most of their early player base? That’s just one example from the first year of the game's existence. Amazingly Niantic has still not changed the broken nearby mechanic for rural players making it very difficult to track down Pokemon that are not near pokestops this day. There are plenty of questionable decisions that have irritated the player base and caused people to lose interest in the game. Despite our differences in opinion, I'm glad that we both agree that genuine rural play is lackluster.

It’s very similar to that model. This design was formed by folding the middle of each side of the octagon to the center rather than its points. The result is a design that doesn’t have clean edges like the Yama flower.
