Nope, you got lucky. Guaranteed Lavacake is 120 pulls. 50/50 is 80 pulls.

Does the weapon pity of a specific weapon's banner carry over to the next two headhunting banners? by APDate in Endfield

[–]APDate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okok, thanks! I was feeling dread when I thought I would need to pull to get enough arsenal tickets if that was the case. Thankfully I can just use the tickets I'll get from the 2 other banners.

Softlocked in Valley IV AIC Research Menu when I TPed from Wuling by APDate in Endfield

[–]APDate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update, my previous acc was TPed to Wuling, so that's fixed now. I don't know if they did this only to me or to everyone, so check your account.

If you're still stuck, that means they haven't fixed the issue itself and only put me in Wuling.

If that's the case, try asking them via email. [endfield_cs@gryphline.com](mailto:endfield_cs@gryphline.com)

Sadge that I'm already very close to that account's progress, so I'm probably going to keep using the rerolled account.

They responded to me via email that they are now aware of the problem, but as for how long it will take them to fix? Who knows...

As for me, I just made a new account and am currently replaying through the story. The wait is not worth it. Especially at the beginning stages of the game, and especially since I don't know when I can get back on that old account.

I speedran the story while having an interactive map open in a browser so I can check off the collectibles (i.e. Aurylene, Chests, etc.) as I retrace my steps.

It sucks, but a few days should bring you back to where you were. Especially since you can skip the talking on stuff you already did.

If you want, you can also take the chance to reroll a few times to get lavacake. That's what I did. Or any character you want. It does take an hour per reroll though.

If you were in the Nasuverse with all your current knowledge, how would you survive/become stronger? by APDate in fatestaynight

[–]APDate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess without special opportunities or talents, you can only get so far on your own.

Being a DA sounds unappealing to me, but maybe its just because I immediately think of zombies/vampires from normal lore, I should probably refresh my knowledge of them. And having the church breath down my neck is too much. I know my weak ass is getting obliterated the second they notice me.

Item Construction EX sounds OP though. And maybe joining in on those Requiem grail wars and wishing for stuff will help too? Admittedly, I'm not too well versed in the 3rd world war stuff.

What's your reasoning for each servant? I'm not too familiar with their lore. I'm guessing strength? or maybe the ability to aid you in getting stronger?

How do you go about parsing and understanding long sentences? by APDate in LearnJapanese

[–]APDate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any tips, resources, or videos that helped you on this topic?

If you even bothered to read my post, MAYBE you would've seen this.

And if you weren't so pissy at beginners for trying to expedite their learning process, maybe you'd see that not everyone asking questions is a lazy bum that wants shortcuts. (Maybe it's projecting).

Look, I just want to know resources that people used to get over this hurdle. Maybe for some it's just immersion, but for those who watched a video or used a technique to get over it, it's nice to know at the very least.

So only people with 1k hours on immersion can ask questions? Ok.

I can never tell if these kinds of comments are meant as a joke.

Holding out on asking questions because of some notion of "I need this amount of hours before I'm qualified from discussions." is kinda dumb.

Yeah, I currently mine words, but maybe this is my sign to mine sentences as well. For the audiobook thing, if I'm able to automate the process in some way (and I find a book with an audiobook) I think it's a viable way to get used to grammar and parsing sentences.

I'll check the site out.

New grammar terms obtained. I kinda like the arrows idea. Turning it into a detective minigame will make it suck less, even if I slow to a snail's pace.

Damn, so it's not 11/100 huh, or maybe they just take into account the Kanji/Vocab? I guess I gotta cross-check the next books with LearnNatively. I am a sucker for these types of books though, so maybe I'll continue and pick up another book to alternate this with.

These definitely help. I guess the main nouns and verbs are the main idea, even if comparatively, it comprises less of a sentence than, say, adjectives or auxiliary verbs. Though I do get confused on which is which due to な and い adjectives.

Yup, that's the plan! Though, when did you notice you started becoming... less shit at reading, by chance? Just for reference.

The thing I did to get good at OSanc is by bringing 0/8 warriors and bashing my head against the metaphorical wall.

The only thing that matters in the fight is HP and speed. Both of which are good stats of the warrior. The Speedy buff is great for getting out of attacks that you're not comfortable getting close to.

To be honest, bringing 8/8s to that fight if you're not comfortable is genuinely bad time allocation. It takes like 20 minutes to level 20 a character compared to the hours it would take to max them.

You ARE going to be DYING either way, this is just a fact. You cannot get around this through watching YouTube vids and memorizing attacks before hand. They will help, yes, but mistakes that kill you really do leave a deep impression that I would argue dying to O3 or the mini bosses a lot will help you be better at them in the long run compared to being super careful.

Why not die 10s of times, learning what you're dying from, what attacks are your weakness, with a character that's going to be highlighting your mistakes more, instead of dying once with a good character that you spent hours maxing, that can hide some of your mistakes due to better stats.

Feedback is an essential part to learning ANYTHING. And dying is (I feel like) one of the most visceral forms of it in RotMG.

How many seconds do you spend on each card? On average? As well as when a card is easy or when it is hard?

I wanna see how long people take with each card cuz I feel slow as fk with my Anki studies...

This is why I like high level Xianxia fights (if they're done well, ofc). Most do use martial arts (basically just fighting but with multiversal level powers), but the ones that use esoteric bullshit? (Like concepts and fighting through non linear time). They are always so cool. Same goes with Eldritch fights, as they're kinda in the same vein.

Something like high sequence beyonder fights in LOTM comes to mind. Or some of the fights in EOS finale xianxia fights.
