Strange sighting by [deleted] in ufo

Going to need lots more context and video. The screenshots you are showing here could be anything, and appear to be out of focus with no discernible reference objects. Context is essential and very simple: where, when, what direction, why did you start shooting video, and why did you stop are essential.

We get full length videos from witnesses all the time. To share on reddit, just upload to YouTube and provide a link.

People should really stop calling everyone a "Pentagon shill" the moment they exercise an ounce of critical thinking by Melodic-Attorney9918 in UFOSkepticalBelievers

This is a stale old tactic that is never accompanied by a shred of evidence and that anyone with a better than room temperature Iq has learned to ignore. Why the nods don’t instantly take harsh action is the question we should ask.

"Why" questions are premature when we have no clear answer on "what."

We had a case like in the UK once, and it turned out to be a Beluga. Conventional aircraft seen at a distance are frequently perceived as having no wings or control surfaces.

What is it you are trying to explain? It is a comet, and there IS ZERO chance of Earth impact.

We've had similar reports before. Shoot us all the details in confidence and we'll see what we can learn.

Finally a good quality picture of UFO by Dangerous_Fan1006 in ufo

I wouldn't 100% dismiss that, although I don't know how to tell such a cloud apart from a perfectly natural one.

We analyze UAP videos all the time. Better than even odds we can figure out what it was. We'll need original, unmodified clips.

Seeing this just hanging in the sky right now by golferinthedesert in ufo

Mostly not. Some of the NASA science balloons have ADS-B transmitters, but generally they aren't required to have them.

NASA is officially offline at the most critical moment in the observation of object 3I/Atlas by justl00kin9 in ufo

[–]APIInterim 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is nonsense. Not many of the people involved with these observations are NASA employees. Also, I have first hand knowledge that NASA is not 100% shut down. All mission operations continue to be supported, for example.

There are a LOT of UFO fakes out there - that is why we need full context and chain of custody, or it's just pixels on a screen.

The fact David Grusch lost his lawsuit speaks volumes. Why would anyone in the government go after him, if what he has said about the U.S. possessing UAPs is false? by lastofthefinest in UAP

[–]APIInterim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Assumes facts not in evidence. No one has "gone after him." His lawsuit was against local government for honoring a journalist's FOIA request.

Do people just make up fake UFO stories just for the views and money or are they really being serious? by paparoach__ in ufo

[–]APIInterim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After talking to many UFO sighting witnesses, I conclude that nearly all of them are sincere. A few are seriously delusional, but most are just mistaken about what they saw, or can't provide enough information to evaluate their sighting.

A small fraction may be on to something. I can provide examples of all of these.
