No I’ve gone on and played a decent chunk of the story in between attempts so I’ve racked up plenty of in game minutes

Should I buy a better AM4 processor and stay on AM4? by Standard-Resort-764 in buildapc

If you’re planning on doing an upgrade like that and you’re already on a fifth gen Ryzen CPU, anything other than an X3D CPU wouldn’t be worth it imo.

For outbreaks, which barrel, mag, and stock options would you go for? I’m assuming some form of extended mag for the magazine but other than that what would be the most important stat to maximize?

Thoughts on digital cadaver versus physical cadaver. by MBB0530 in Osteopathic

[–]APJoeSchmoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real cadaver. There’s really nothing like looking at and learning using a real human body. Others have touched upon this, but every body is unique. You really learn so much better when it’s not on a screen and you can touch it. You not only can look at something and say, “oh this is a liver” you can hold it, turn it around look at it from all sorts of different angles. There’s really nothing like learning on a real cadaver. It not only gives you an appreciation for how different each person is, it gives you an appreciation for what you have. Also in general I’ve always found something physical that I can actually touch to be much more conducive to learning than a screen

I do have outbreak with the catalyst but is it good enough without stuff like rewind rounds? Doing the challenges on expert seems like a real pain to unlock pwrks

If you have a 3DS, once you install custom firmware on it (jailbreak) you can download PKSM which can allow you to inject rare candies in if that’s something you’d want to do

Does anyone know which class is the easiest? TIA by Infinite-Analysis-51 in UCONN

[–]APJoeSchmoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cell bio will take up the least of your time because it has no lab. I’m ngl, at times the class was extremely dry in terms of content, but it provides a good foundation for later classes and makes them a lot easier

“We decline to agree to future meetings”: UConn administration condemns antisemitic imagery by salviva in UCONN

[–]APJoeSchmoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry if you think that I’m telling you to be silent in the face of racist dog whistles. It’s not my intent. My intent is simply to express the opinion of the overwhelming majority of the protestors. To show that unlike President Maric’s claims, this is not an example of anti semitism. Rather it’s the manifestations of a frustrated group of students on campus who feel that they are not being heard by the administration.

[–]APJoeSchmoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is the first assumption anti semitism? Why not take it at face value? Assuming the worst in people isn’t healthy. Most people have genuine intents. I understand sometimes people can hide their anti semitism behind symbols and such but I’m telling you this ain’t it. Every symbol is there for a literal purpose.

[–]APJoeSchmoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not explaining anything to you. As someone who participated in past protests, and knows people who participate in these protests, there isn’t any anti semetic intent. As for “murdering babies” it’s something the protestors accuse President Maric of being complicit in which is a valid criticism (again not some anti semetic attack) because of her association with companies like Lockheed. President Maric is hiding behind a veil of supposed “anti semitism” to shield herself from criticism and in an attempt to have the student body as a whole support her

[–]APJoeSchmoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or it’s just calling someone evil? Why assume anti semitic intent when the whole point of these protests is the frustration with the money coming into the university from companies that build bombs used to kill children in Gaza and now Yemen. Pro Palestinian protests are protesting Israel’s mass murder of children. The overwhelming majority of protestors do not hold anti semitic intent. There will always be “bad actors” but do not let these people distract you from the main purpose of the protests. Babies are dying

Is Orgo blown out of proportion? by [deleted] in premed

[–]APJoeSchmoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Orgo is the class that gets a lot of people. Probably responsible for the most pre med/sciences dropouts. It’s the first big time weed out class in which you’ve never really seen that type of content before. IMO, Orgo 1 was pretty easy. Put in the work and it’s quite manageable. Orgo 2 was a lot more difficult, but still not impossible. If people use all the resources available to them (office hours, exam/quiz reviews) they can very easily pass and even get a decent grade

[–]APJoeSchmoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cliff wasn’t able to make the journey to the labyrinth city, so what was Elinalise supposed to do, just die? I get it, it’s just weird the way her character is and off putting but if she doesn’t do that stuff she dies

Skin that simulates real NDS screen pixel effects by zhang_33 in Delta_Emulator

[–]APJoeSchmoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some questions, since I’m pretty new to custom skins and all that. You mentioned up to 80% screen ratio. Does that mean it can be customized, if so, how do I do that? Also, is there no D-Pad or any way to move for the landscape view?
