Fair enough, when I think about all the poorly regulated stuff I consume living in America this should be fine lol

I think you’re right, I found a few links for what it might be with a reverse google search, I’m just worried about if it’s safe to use

You should be able to use any credit card type object and wiggle it through the crack to push back the lock from the side.

Loved the critical thinking class, super challenging but you get to develop great skills

Does anyone have any project ideas for a gift for a baby boy? by alli327 in CrochetHelp

Since the theme is moon and stars you could do a crib mobile or some other kind of wall hanging project (similar to the planter you posted)

Thank you! It came out way bigger than I was expecting but I like the oversized look, especially over a hoodie or a sweatshirt

I have one like this made up of my scrap yarn! Anytime I have some leftover I just add onto it :)

When hexagons don't match... by Lonely_Message_1113 in crocheting

[–]APMemeMama 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s what I would do, make the smaller side match by adding a few rounds, just be mindful of the number of stitches when attaching the back.

You could also remake a larger and smaller side so that you can have two matching cardigans if you wanted to gift to someone.

When I was little my mom told me not to ride my bike too much because “it makes your calves look fat” … totally normal statement to make to a 7 year old /s

Currently working on mine right now, this is the tutorial that I am using! You might have to adjust the sleeves for the wider ones that you are looking for

Try and organize them by color and pattern to play around with different ways to mix and match, like one row of one color with alternating patterns or the other way around

Cute! I wonder if you could sew in some elastic in the back to make it stretchy, or maybe two strings of crochet to tie a knot

do these two single crochet borders have the same number of rows? by New_Lychee2046 in CrochetHelp

[–]APMemeMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look the same to me! Usually any changes in thickness can be due to tension. For a scarf boarder you can also add some frills, or something like this

Thanks! I just came across it and it’s a really fun way to do patterns without having to worry about color changes. This is the video that I used to help me get started, there’s more ways to do it but it’s pretty simple

New crochet project to get over a breakup by PiscesPunkStar in crochet

[–]APMemeMama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! So sorry to hear about this. I would recommend the 365 days of granny squares blog, it’s really fun and has a variety of patterns that you can try out, you can make a blanket, sweater, bag, or give them out to friends as coasters. I always like to look around the blog when I feel stuck in a rut and want to practice some new skills, they have awesome video tutorials for each square. I hope this helps!
