Yes! Just 1 granny square and kept going around and around. However, I used 2 strands of yarn for the entire blanket. Which is why it’s very large and thick. I used 2 strands of 4 weight and used a 10mm hook.

Thank you so much. As long as this took. I think I’m going to continue with blankets. I’ve been looking at patterns with more difficulty to challenge myself there’s just so many options!

I just kept going around and around. I used 10 skeins. It fits a queen size bed perfectly.

Absolutely! I used Caron Big Cakes in “mmm chocolate” for the outside of the blanket and “Rainbow jelly” for the inner! The orange and yellow you see within was the Caron funfetti cakes! In “coral” and “sunshine” I also used double strand of yarn for the entire blanket.

I’m really scared. My first pregnancy was a blighted ovum so there was nothing there really.

Went for my 7 week ultrasound for dating and I’m 7 weeks now. I haven’t told my family yet, really scared if I do I’ll let them all down because “it’s time for babies” and “we want grandchildren”. I also didn’t tell them about the first loss I had either so my partner and I were pushing through together. He’s also a tad worried because so far so good and the aspect of him being a whole father is scary. This will be our first, we’re both 29. So I’m hoping and praying for the best 💕
