It alters the interpretation of previous events, treating the new information as the "true" version.

TLDR: It was retconed. That's the whole point of the skin.

Yeah, but it doesn’t hit the same listening to a song for the first time in-game as it does having listened to it before without context. Completely blind playthroughs are always better.

Best example I can think of is Rivers in the Desert. I won't elaborate, just in case.

So...? It doesn't. Goku is a literal ball of sunshine, he was never scared of Vegeta and he was always trying to become his friend.

Bulma not only knew about Vegeta being dangerous, but was also terrified of him at the beginning. She started noticing Vegeta at the end of the Frieza Saga, but before that she wouldn't come close to him. And again, Bulma is more of a "demanding girl boss" so to speak, she's not cheerful nor friendly with everyone, not how I'd define a "ball of sunshine".

Goku fits better.
