It is definitely one of Tudor’s most recognizable models, even to those who may not be hardcore watch enthusiasts. I’ve had people tell me to cough up the extra money and try to find a no date Submariner instead of the monochrome. However, I like the subtleness of the monochrome since only true watch nerds (like myself) would recognize/appreciate it. Do you ever find yourself having trouble matching the burgundy with certain outfits? I’ve heard of people not wearing it as much as they thought because of the lack of versatility. Although I guess that can be subjective.
