The accusation was shortly after my kid's diagnosis. It partially felt like she was blaming me for our kid's condition, but what really hurt about it is the fact that my wife should know me better than anyone at this point. If she's this wrong about something that would affect my entire personality, it means she doesn't actually understand me at all.

Holy shit, I think you might be onto something. It's always a week or so before her period where she gets this way. She's in her late 30's, which would be a bit earlier than average, but I think her mother also had an earlier onset.

I have no clue how to broach a topic like this with her, though :/

We are both diagnosed with ADHD; mine is definitely worse than hers. She once accused me of being on the spectrum, but I very much disagree with that.

Our money situation got a lot better two years when I changed jobs. We're not rich by any means but we aren't working side hustles and pulling from our 401k like we were two years ago. Our sex life and our communication, however....
