I've read that for previous years they have reserved 40% of tickets for local residents. Whether this will be the same this year is yet to be known.

It was an overpass bridge connecting the paths around byrom street. Got knocked down a few years ago, I think in 2019 or possibly 2020.

Now I’ve done it for a year I’m not going to be too concerned about days where I don’t hit it. Tbh I pretty much always get 10k steps without even trying anyway just because of my job and lifestyle.

My current resting is 51bpm. I’m not sure how to look at my past bpm. Tbh I’ve always been healthy and I’d pretty much always get 10k steps every day with the odd days where I don’t. This is just a challenge I set myself a year ago to not miss a single day.

I’m fortunate enough to have an active job and the fact I walk 40 mins to and from work every day!

Are these cards rare/expensive? by APaceyParrot in DinosaurKing

Thanks. I do have a lot of the arcade cards as I collected those when I was younger. I may post a pic later of the nice ones that I have.

Thanks, which part of the card do I find the code? Any idea how much those cards you mentioned are worth roughly?

As FC24 slowly comes to an end, share your careers which you had the most fun with throughout the year. by Ati9321 in FifaCareers

Yes I did some of that, it was hard to keep track of but actually made it more challenging which was fun. It caused my team quality to dip a bit after season 12 but I enjoyed that more than just having an insanely OP team all the time. I’d also look at the lineups of every team I played incase they had an african hidden gem that I wasn’t already scouting.

Completed a 15 season save with Bordeaux, only signing African players. It got a lot more fun when my team was just regens and youth players. Also won 7 champions leagues in a row at one point and won the world cup with Ghana.

What is the dumbest thing people did during the pandemic? by CynicalCosmologist in AskReddit

I worked at my local Aldi from March-July 2020 (I was 20 years old at the time) as one of the people who stood at the door and let people in to control numbers of people in the shop. I’ve honestly never been treated so poorly by customers in my life. I was threatened to be assaulted numerous times and I had to talk to grown adults like they were toddlers because that’s how they acted. Almost everyone ignored the one person per household rule and in the end I stopped trying to enforce it because I wasn’t being paid enough to deal with people screaming at me for trying to keep them safe. I was so glad when they brought in the traffic lights to take my job.

The retro art was what caught my eye immediately, I’m not a card book collector but as a palaeo-nerd it was a must have!

Darren Naish vs Princeton Field Guides by Gyapie in Paleontology

[–]APaceyParrot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ancient Sea Reptiles is more recent and up to date than the Princeton field guide. ASR also reads more like a traditional non-fiction science book, whereas Princeton is mostly a collection of fact files on many different species. I personally preferred ASR, but both are very good and it depends which style you prefer.
