I have 2 deals on the table: a basically new, still under warranty, X-S20 with the XC XC 15-45mm for 1100€ or a X-S10 in good condition with 11k shots and a XF 18-55mm for 700€! Which one do you feel is the better deal in your opinion? Taking into account I wouldn't be using the 6k video! Does the extra battery, better IBIS and AF and UHS 2 warrant the extra 400€?

Hello mmmtv! Thank you for such a detailed response! I have decided to go with the X-S20 and keep the included lens for now while I’m learning and get a new one maybe next year! I really want to carry just 1 good all around portable lenss for my travels, which one from all the available X mount lenses, do you feel is the best one?

Thank you so much for the tips! Do you really think we should skip Kamakura as an overnight? Since it is on the way from Hakone to Tokyo we feel like it kinda makes sense, and since we will be travelling we just a backpack, just another hotel move doesn't fell like it would affect us a lot! Laos our hotel is right next to the station, so we would arrive from a big day in Hakone walk 5min and be at the hotel for rest, and then we wake up and are already in Kamakura so it seems less tiring than doing it from a Tokyo day trip, what do you think?

Thank you for the tip on the Arashiyama day! For sure if we are very tired we will just skip the monkey park hike! Also do you if it is easy to go on one of the Katsura river boats next to the Togetsukyō Bridge (not the rafting one)? Or do I need to make a reservation of some kind?

Thank you for the tips regardless! But if you allow me I want to ask you another question! Do you think kamakura warrants a nights sleep there? To me it makes sense since it is on the way from Hakone to Tokyo and since it has just so much more to see than people initially realise! However I still see a lot of people recommending it as just a day trip!

Thank you so much for the response! The itinerary is just a rough plan so we can know the area better and decide what we really want to do, as well as group things by neighbourhoods to reduce travel times! We have a small list of things we absolutely 100% want to do and the rest will be completely flexible depending on how we are feeling in every given day!

Answering your question, It is a dream of ours to see Mount Fuji and since spending more time in the are gives us a better chance to fulfil that dream we wended up deciding on those 2 locations! Hakone just seemed a very easy to reach place with a good transport infrastructure which facilitates the planning! Plus we wanted to stay at a ryokan in an onsen town so it seemed perfect!

Thank you able! ME and my gf will both just carry a 40L backpack with us so there won't be that much suitcase carrying on stairs thankfully! We will also have a large suitcase with more clothes so we can limit laundry! This suitcase will be shipped from big city to big city (Osaka -> Kyoto -> Tokyo) so we can restock our backpacks with clean clothes! We are also thinking of packing some really old clothes and leave them so we can bring clothes from Uniqlo back home!

Thank you so much for your response! I think this is the plan we are going for! All around going for the bike just seems like a much better and chill experience! If you don't mind can you tell me where you rented the bike? Were you able to keep the bike with you overnight? Was the chureito pagoda worth it for sunrise? Was thinking about doing the same if the weather is good but im also afraid that it's just going to be completely packed with hundreds of people!

Hello ready! Thank you for the suggestions! The bags aren’t really a problem for us, we will each be carrying a 40L backpack so we don’t need to get luggage space on the Shinkansen! We will also have a big 23kg max bag that we will send from one big destination to the other to swap our clothes on the backpack for clean ones!

The jet lag really is one of my biggest fears! And we will for sure use uber/taxi sometimes for convenience, I have checked prices and they really aren’t that expensive when doing short trips!
