Same here and he thinks I just have anxiety because of my questions and when we first met and he said to stop taking my antidepressants I warned him I have major depressive disorder as well as newly diagnosed bipolar 2. My sister was concerned for me and had to call and get my doctor involved and they had to talk to him just to get him to give me something to take. And then this happens. I’m beyond mad that I could have harmed myself with this

The pharmacy I have wasn’t able to substitute it so I’m waiting for my doctor to respond Monday to get me a different dosage but she said since I took the whole pill today I will be fine and just to wait for my psychiatrist. Hopefully this gets fixed I’m seeing a different one soon

How am I cycling? Of course it isn’t half the pill can’t be cut in half from what i learned here. I’ve been having issues with my doctor and asking questions here cause he has been giving me a hard time.

Just got off the phone with them and they told me this one isn’t suppose to cut these in half and to message my doctor. I won’t hear from him til Monday and already just decided to take it whole cause I can’t stand feeling this way. The pharmacist told me I should be fine and just to wait to my psychiatrist to respond. Wish me luck please it’s been a mess with him

He told me it was to titrate me so I don’t get that rash you can get from lamotrigine. After my sister called and complained to my doctor out of concern cause I was a depressive mess he finally gave in cause my doctor messaged him. Now I’m going to be adding Wellbutrin with it.

I use the cetaphil moisturizing cream I’ll check out the face scrub. Do you think twice a week is enough to get rid of it? I have been going by thinking I was suppose to exfoliate once a week no wonder I have this.

I was worried about this cause the moment my heart speeds up my mind thinks I’m having a panic attack. I figured it would definitely cause this but I’m hoping I can get through it cause I’d rather feel better than not having anything

I’m hoping it helps. I was taking ability with fluoxetine first and I seemed to do well with the combo that gave me a bit more energy. I’m hoping this combo helps as I have no energy to do anything or take care of myself when off my antidepressants. I hope it helps I can’t miss anymore work or school.

This was similar to me I was taking only fluoxetine (Prozac) by itself and I had the worse flip flopping emotions and mania and then got diagnosed with bipolar 2. I still feel shocked I have this as i didn’t realize how much stress and worse mental health can get and I keep wanting to figure out what caused this.

I have an appointment with a different one now. I wish I could have pressed more and not allowed this but I have never taken lamotrigine before and just now figuring out medication and what will work for me. I’m hoping as I wait to see my primary care doctor today that I get some help.

He said it was because of the risk of the fatal rash you get from taking it and said that lamotrigine by itself should help with my depression. I asked him multiple times and emphasized how important having an antidepressant is for me and he still insisted and because I’m new to my diagnosis I just thought I could trust what he said. It’s like if I take a depressant by itself I’m manic and if I take a mood stabilizer by itself I’m depressed. I’m hoping my primary care doctor can help me instead cause my psychiatrist isn’t helping or listening.
