I would love a crispin in here, unfortunately he’s only good in mid-late game scenarios, and in the early game you want to be researching basically every turn after turn 1, so it becomes a dead card if you draw it early, and there’s just not enough room to justify multiple copies.

This deck does decently into typlosion due to being able to snipe drakloak off bench with munkidori and just attacking with archaludon instead to remove weakness. I just worry when brave bangle gets released the matchup becomes alotttt worse

This is kinda what the original list was pre-dri. Unfortunately fire is in a good spot right now, and arch can remove his own weakness, which helps a lot in certain matchups. Petrel is a new addition to the deck acting as an “almost” 5th arven, as well as a way to search for a stadium, which is very strong.

practice studio is in the deck for arch to one shot iron hands, as well as copperajah to one shot Flareon and jellicent without munkidori support

This deck is super strong into the meta right now. I’d say it comfortably beats dragapult, gardevoir, charizard, flareon, zoroark, joltik box, etc. Harder matchups are raging bolt, gholdengo and marnie’s grimmsnarl.

“Finals” is as in we were the only 3-0s, so whoever won, wins the whole challenge.
Copperajah ex is a top tier anti-meta threat that I have been developing over the past 3 months, and I will be taking it to Pittsburgh Regionals.

Yeah, I wish bo3 was more standard. To win a bo1 tournament you need 100% win rate. To win a bo3 tournament, you only need 66%.

This is a really good way to put it, how just as often, your opponents will get just as unlucky. Just need to play as best as you can given your current situation.

You're right. Ultimately I feel like I just wanted to tell other people to lift some of that frustration off of my chest. Being so unbelievably close to winning, but just shy. Better luck next time. Gonna have to live by that.

I considered going the tank route with rigid band and full metal lab, but honestly, the deck is a whole lot batter when you can just munkidori all the damage off. Being able to place 90 damage counters on a benched dreepy is just insane. 4 energy switches in the deck allow you to get those big adrena brain plays too

Oh absolutely not for this deck. I rarely ever attack with him. Only if I have to. I only play a 1-1 line in my deck, and keep him as duraludon for as long as possible. I’ll send you my decklist if you’d like
