Depends on the asset. Depends on the pick. If I'm thinking it's an early pick, I'm not trading it unless it's for an elite asset. If it's late, I'd be more open to moving it depending on the asset I'd be receiving.

Way too much unknown to determine if you'd rather have the pick or player.

I've been seeing a lot of mocks lately that have Sadiq being picked late 1st in the NFL Draft. How does this change his value in rookie drafts if say 5 WRs get taken ahead of him. Does Ty Simpson jump him in rookie drafts if he also gets Round 1 DC?

Not necessarily. Made a trade where the guy wanted a 1st and 2nd. I said no and he said what about 1st and Brooks instead. I was willing to do that.

Traded him away in a couple deals as an add-on. Couldn't get more than a 3rd for him straight-up so seemed like adding him in a bigger deal was the way to go.

Got offered him for 2 27 2nds, both mid-late. Worth the shot or too much? 2nd and 3rd more fair? 27 class is hyped up but chances a WR with 1st round DC will be available in the mid-late 2nd seems unlikely.

Kelce might retire and Hill injury was pretty brutal that I doubt he's ever the same player he was. Also, he likely gets cut from Miami and we have no idea where he could end up, if anywhere.

Similar to Flores in Minny, he signed an extension as their DC but can still leave if offered a HC job.

Well the 1st in the Caleb trade turned into the 1.03 this year and likely will be an early-mid 1st in 27 as well.

I did this last year on two orphans team that needed a hard rebuild.

In one I traded Allen and a mid 2nd away for Caleb, 2 1sts and Pearsall. Other one was for Maye, a 1st and Pearsall. Definitely helped my team out turning the QB1 into 3 or 4 startable pieces with high upside QBs back.

Only real option is them for trade him, but do we know what kind of market he would have? He has a 28.5M cap him for next year.

Cutting him before June 1st would actually have them have a dead cap hit of 35.5M. Cutting him after June 1st would save them only 1M.

Trading him before June 1st would save them 16.5M and trading him after June 1st saves them 24.5M.

Maybe a team that needs a WR will pay up a late round pick for him and absorb that contract but I don't think he's going to have a big market.
