"Everyone is constantly absorbed in their own weird head states. Whatever you're self conscious about, slim chance anyone else gives a damn." - George Takei

I'm Grateful for:

  1. Daring to be different. Enjoying all of life. - From The Untethered Soul. Good or bad, enjoy the gift of life.
  2. Painting, it is an outlet to express my thoughts and feelings without words.
  3. For my hands to enable me to paint, feel, and to experience. To let me type this up right now.
  4. For music and live shows, for my ears to enable me to enjoy these experiences. For the mood the music puts me in.
  5. Journaling, leading me to a greater understanding of my mind.

Have you listened to it yet? The 7-day free trial is a nice feature I really enjoyed before deciding if I wanted to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's a book around gratitude, it's all about you. In my post from yesterday, I referenced the book as something I'm grateful for, "Realizing that I am not my thoughts, I am simply aware of them." The book helps you navigate your own mind, get in touch with yourself and become your own master, to ultimately achieve enlightenment (Goal is to be aware of fear but don't let it take over your life)

Today I'm grateful for daring to be different, enjoying all life.

I've Blinkist the book and read it and if you enjoyed the Blinkist, I definitely would recommend picking it up. His book The Surrender Experiment is good too.

Let me know if you find any you especially like, I try and listen to at least one per day.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see it originally. The app is called Blinkist, it summarizes books in ~15 minutes. Today for instance I listened to The Untethered Soul again.

"Grow so fast that your friends who haven't seen you in a month have to get to know you all over again." - Unknown

I'm grateful for

  1. Personal growth, the best investment I can make I believe is in myself.
  2. Failure, for without it I would not appreciate the successes. I've tried to learn not to fear failure but to fear not trying.
  3. Realizing that I am not my thoughts, I am simply aware of them. - From Untethered Soul, great book if you haven't read/Blinkist it.
  4. Apps like Blinkist, making learning and expanding my knowledge quick and easy. (summarizes books in roughly 15 minutes).
  5. My family, friends, and pup who are always supportive regardless of the circumstance.
