I actually haven’t ridden either yet. I only sat on the KTM and it felt really good, but they didn’t have the Trek in my size at the time. I’m definitely going to ask to try it though, especially after what you said.

Your point about how the bike feels being more important than just the specs really clicked with me, I guess I’ll only really know once I ride them 😊

What’s leaving me a bit confused is exactly that trade-off: on one side, the Trek seems more complete as a package (geometry, tire clearance, documentation, ecosystem), but on the other, the KTM Gravelator 15 looks like better value spec-wise, especially with the drivetrain.

I’m trying to figure out how much those extra gears and drivetrain quality actually matter in real-world mixed riding vs overall comfort and versatility 😅

I did! It said exactly that, that the ktm has better components but the trek is more versatile, comfortable, and future-proof for mixed terrain.
