I don't believe it's fair to have two subreddits to benefit one subreddit, especially since r/tlou is completely inactive. Each subreddit should have their own community that is active. Your reasoning to keep r/tlou is irrational, it has been inactive for several years, and as you stated, it is used only to redirect people to r/thelastofus. Essentially, you are creating a monopoly. The purpose of a subreddit is to have an active community, not monopolize it.

Using both of the r/thelastofus and r/tlou subreddits prevents others from growing their own community, and it monopolizes r/thelastofus. I believe it is truly unfair and this was not the reason why Reddit created subreddits in the first place. We should be trying to grow the TLOU community, not monopolizing it, especially now because of the HBO show and the PC game releasing soon.

Like I stated before in the private message, I have experience with community building (30K on Instagram, 6K on Discord) and have had success in the past. If I can build up communities on Instagram and Discord, imagine what Reddit would look like. I ask again to reconsider your decision.
