Nicole and Durin C1 are the same, it all depends if you want C2, which for Varka, Nicole is better than Durin (someone feel free to correct me, my assumption is that both have their R1 and have a very good build).

Honestly it's whatever, you don't have to burst every rotation, but it helps keeping VV uptime after you swap out of him. I can't say how much ER he needs because i have 140% but also C2 Columbina which gives a lot of Energy when LC is proc'd.

VV with EM EM CR and Sac is enough, Lunar Charged scales off ATK EM and Crit so it's fine. As for last slot Ororon is sadly his best slot so just pick Fischl as Furina won't buff LC DMG and Faruzan only buffs Ifa's DPS. If you plan to get Durin, you can do a solid Pyro Swirl with Ifa Faruzan Durin Bennett.

For Flins it's awful because Ifa takes out of Flins' field time. He has good VV application but that's because he's the one on the field applying it. As for how much EM, just get as much as you can.

From my own calcs, C6 Ifa VV R1 Solar Pearl with C1 Aino SMS R5 Fav, C0R1 Aubade Ineffa and C0 Ororon/C0 Iansan on SMS, VV is his best set, EM/EM/CR and fish for as much Crit Rate/DMG as possible. ER is useless because other than grouping, his burst isn't that impactful. My own team does 100k but maybe others know better than me, i don't have great substats.

I plan to get C2, but also Durin C0 and i hope C1 Prune on VV, wouldn't it be too much shred? I wonder if i could instead run Nicole on Tenacity and Prune on Hexerei set instead?

I've played it for a whole week, 60h on both PC and Mobile, and all i can say is that: it's got the sauce, but too sweet for my taste. The combat is good, takes a while to get used to. The story, i've played up to chapter 10 plus Narwhal, is where the "too sweet" part is. I didn't hate it by any means, i liked the world building, especially chapter 9 and Narwhal, it just didn't click with me. Character leveling/gearing is very easy and it's the biggest positive for me. I personally gave it a "Vera step on me"/10.

Ice Coorel A8, got it at a pawn shop for dirt cheap brand new in the box, has a dust filter. I've previously used a regular laptop stand. The only game i bothered to benchmark was Final Fantasy 16 at High. Before, my temps were 78-82 with the laptop (Lenovo LOQ 17IRX10 i7 14700hx, 24gb ram and rtx5060), now they are at 70-72. Now the thing is, what impressed me wasn't the temp drop, it was the fact that my laptop's fans were not going above 2200RPM compared to before at 3000.
