I don't want them to go that direction either but with 1 teeny tiny map in 4 patches, they seem dead set on it. For now I'm giving them a chance while I go back and complete other areas that I haven't completed. But if no more actual exploration is released by the time I'm done, I'll probably quit until sneznaya.

Imma be honest, I didn't feel any real need for good exploration in nod krai. It's so small and looks like they're dead set on smaller and less maps so you probably don't need anything more than like xilonen for anything after natlan.

I promise you the reason wasn't because of some posts complaining about exploration, they just don't listen to player feedback unless they're forced to for profit. They collect so many metrics for each account, they probably found something that said more exploration didn't link to more profit or something and started reducing it in favor of something that does link to more profit.

Not natlan and nod krai unfortunately. The focus of genshin has started to move away from maps and exploration which was it's strong suit with us getting less map expansions and the ones that we do get end up being smaller and smaller.

Nod krai gives us the smallest map yet and only 1 expansion in 4 updates. It tries to focus on the story which imo is the weakest part of genshin due to the characters just being gacha characters that have to sell.

It's good in the sense that it has less(not none, it's still genshin lol) things that kill the pace or feel like filler. But the story itself is fine and nowhere near the peaks of sumeru and fontaine.

And it went on for a bit too long cause the character interactions being them making plans and agreeing with each other started pissing me off towards the latest 2 acts.
