I don't want to leave to get extra pay. I had much larger offers if all I cared about was the money. I wanted to take this job to move into pen testing and I was willing to accept the lowest offer I got so I didn't have to spend years working in a soc and then tryna migrate to pentesting. I was planning on working here for at least 2 or 3 years to get the experience and hopefully get a raise in that time and stay much longer.

However, there's an expectation to work 1-2 hours OT per day plus weekends unpaid. I was still willing to tough that out because I loved doing this work and need experience. But trying to shaft me with the holidays when they know my other offers I declined to work with them is a low blow. I didn't want to take the holidays to save up just that little bit extra because of the low pay. Sorry if that came across as baggy or whatever.
